What is the COVID-19 Policy?Health & Safety Considerations We cannot guarantee a completely COVID-free environment at our workshops. We recommend that all participants test for COVID before attending. Based on our experience, individuals who are vaccinated, including those with updated vaccinations, tend to have a lower risk of contracting COVID, even when exposed to someone who tests positive. Workshop Continuation & Communication Workshops will typically not be canceled due to a positive COVID case within the group. If a participant tests positive for COVID during the event, we will: Inform all participants of the known positive test and related circumstances. Require the participant who tested positive to exit group activities for the remainder of the workshop. COVID-Related Cancellation & Refund Policy If a participant tests positive before the workshop and decides not to attend: Their workshop fee will be refunded in full. Given difficult past experience, we request a photo of the positive COVID test. Participants are responsible for any nonrefundable lodging and travel expenses. We strongly recommend flexible booking options. If a participant tests positive during the workshop: They will no longer participate in group activities and will be refunded a prorated amount for the remaining portion of the workshop. If another participant chooses to leave due to exposure concerns: Their departure is considered a personal choice, and no refunds will be provided unless their spot can be filled. On a case-by-case basis, we will consider partial refunds or credit transfers in situations such as: Being a caregiver for a high-risk individual Having major personal health risks (e.g., immunocompromised status) Other exceptional circumstances that significantly increase health risks

What dietary options are available? We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free. Special requests and considerations may be noted in the health questionnaire. All dietary requests must be received two weeks prior to the workshop start date, as menus have to be set with the venue.

What is the cancellation policy?General Cancellation Policy More than 15 days before the event: Full refund minus a $200 administrative fee to cover processing costs, facilitator planning, and venue commitments. 14 days or less before the event: If the spot can be and is filled (e.g., from a waitlist): Refund minus the $200 administrative fee. If the spot is not filled: Refund of 50% of the registration cost, as costs have already been incurred for the workshop. Same-day cancellations or no-shows: No refund. Exceptional Circumstances Policy We recognize that unforeseen life events occur. While we must uphold our policies to sustain our programs, we will consider partial refunds or credit transfers on a case-by-case basis in the event of: Serious illness or injury (doctor’s note may be requested). Death of an immediate family member. Severe travel disruptions beyond the participant’s control* (e.g., flight cancellations or road closures due to extreme weather or natural disasters). For COVID-related cancellations, the separate COVID-19 Policy will apply. *Note: If a participant cancels out of precaution due to weather concerns (e.g., uncertainty about conditions, personal discomfort with travel risks) but their flights or other travel arrangements are not officially canceled or significantly delayed, the standard cancellation policy generally applies, but we will be happy to review your situation with you personally.
