4-Day, 3-Night Residential Retreat

Embark on a four-day, three-night journey of deep self-discovery and healing with Grof® Breathwork, a transformative practice pioneered by Stan and Christina Grof. This immersive workshop offers an opportunity to connect with your inner world through a blend of accelerated breathing, evocative music, and focused bodywork, creating a unique pathway to reach holotropic states of consciousness. In this expanded state, you’ll have the space to release emotional and energetic blockages, revealing new layers of self-awareness and inner peace.

Guided by skilled facilitators, supported by a compassionate community of co-breathers and Grof Breathwork trainees, and grounded in the sanctuary of The Genesis Spiritual Center, this retreat invites you to pave the way for a deeper connection to your authentic self.

The retreat includes four Grof® Breathwork experiences (two as a breather and two as a sitter), offering a balanced and immersive introduction to our community and practice. Whether you're new to breathwork or deepening an ongoing practice, this workshop provides a safe, nurturing environment for transformation, growth, and healing.

Cost Inclusions

Prices for residential options include 4-days, 3-nights lodging and three meals a day, with only dinner on arrival day and breakfast on departure day. Non-residential workshop attendance* price includes Thursday night dinner, lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday breakfast.

*Note: we encourage residential attendance for immersion in the group and the additional safety of being on site after breathwork experiences, especially if your commute is greater than 30 minutes.

Contraindications

Grof® Breathwork is a transformative experience designed to facilitate deep self-exploration and healing. Due to the intense physical and emotional nature of the practice, certain health conditions may pose risks during breathwork sessions. To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, please review our health considerations before registering for a workshop. You may also view our health questionnaire prior to registration.

Travel Information

Air: The closest airport is Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, CT, and is a 30 minute drive to The Genesis Spiritual Center.

Train: The nearest Amtrak stop is Union Station in Springfield, MA, and is about a 25 minute drive to The Genesis Spiritual Center.

Bus: The closest bus stop is Court / High Street, which is a half mile walk, about 10 minutes, from The Genesis Spiritual Center.
